Hi everybody.
First sorry for the mistakes, I'm french. Who of you has one day succeeded in having a REAL answer from "Jay Leno" ? Look at this site : only a way to make publicity for NBC, using real passion of fans !!!! Try to ask a question, and you'l only have one answer, always robot answer : "we read all the mails but can't answer all". MY ASS ! (sorry) I posted comments to owners on the garage, doesn't appear. I'm just a 1/43 handcraft scale models maker, a work wich is based on the same passion (I pilot myself and am passionned by mecanics), my intentions were not bad, just wanted to make a link with some cars owners, within Jay Leno for it's Duesenberg coupe, I thought I could trust in reality of the "passion" shown here, but what do I find ? Nothing but a vitrine !!! DISGUSTED I'm just disgusted. I had a great respect for Mr Leno, and the engagements his wife took for womens (hey, I'm against the feminists, really not a feminist, but there are limits to conservation), this kind of free apprearence, and this exceptionnal opened taste for automobile's history. But I'm disgusted by the system. We have many hypocrits in France, but no LIERS. Don't say you read all the mails, it's false. I publicly ask Jay Leno to answer. I'm Nathalie Van Doren, my email is atelier.van.doren@gmail.com and I have the honnesty to speak myself ! DO IT, MR LENO, tell me that this site is not only a game for fans together but without you ! Good benefit to NBC with this big cream pie this site is ! If not, I want the proof. In Europe, people answer to humans who appreciate them. THIS is the difference. From now, I'l take care to change channel when Leno TV show appears on the screen................................ Some courage, MR Leno ? You can personnaly reach me on the +33 979 168 245 to explain how all that is a great circus. It's not ? So be there ! I'm sincere, and it's difficult to believe you're not, Mr Leno. Just disgusted. |

4 days later.....
the fantom site is still left to himself, and Mr Leno has not red any message. I will continue to send message and notice the running time before any reaction ; and I guess the day there will perhaps be one, it won't come from him but from the webmaster. May we laugh or cry ? Mr Leno ? Heyho ! Remember, I've sent you messages about your coupe Duesenberg. I'm going to send my newsletter to collectors, and I have to tell them you're collection is perhaps just an illusion...... Bye untill the next message in some days.....

La colère me fait m'exprimer en français (ça vous changera !).
Comment pouvez-vous être tous aussi crédules et penser qu'un animateur de show TV ait quelque pensée pour vous ? Je ne critique pas l'existence de ce site : il est là pour le marketting, chacun a sa façon de le faire. Mais la fumisterie inadmissible est de faire croire, par une rubrique "Ask Jay your question" que cet homme en personne prend connaissance des messages de vous pauvres visiteurs sans aucun intérêt pour lui que la monnaie qui lui en revient par la pub faîte à NBC. En tout cas, je trouve qu'on a fort peu de couilles aux Etats-Unis et sûrement pas la notion du défi : mes coordonnées sont disponibles sur l'écran, et "super Jay" n'a même pas le cran de réagir. Lamentable. Je pense qu'il devrait revendre ses automobiles européennes : il n'en est pas digne. |

I am still learning about computors. So I must have left my message on you. Nathalie. I drove Limos and tour buses for 26 or so years. Every now and then I would drive celebrities. As you know Jay does alot of private shows. When he was in our area I would drive him to his shows ,for about 10 or 15 years. Well we would talk cars on the way back and forth from the shows. My Crosley was one of the cars we talked about. Does that answer your reply. The rest of the story. |

Nathalie, I understand your anger. No one likes to be ignored. I'm sure Jay has a lot on his plate. I'm trying to get some car enthusiasts on my site that I just launched. It allows visitors to vote on pictures of member cars. I would love for you, and anyone else, to join and add some cars. This isn't spam, I am a real person. Hi Mike,
I've had a look : there are only new cars at the moment. So I hope for you that collectors will come to you. The interest for me is to share restorations, technical, history, piloting, things like that, if this can indicate you some directions. I'm also interested in taking contact with owners of historic cars to have mesures ans photos. So I'll register on your site, and I'll put my 30 years old car, that's all I can do, but I'll do it !

Thanks for visiting the site. I plan on eventually having a seperate tab for "Classics". I know there aren't many cars and I am working on getting people to sign up. It's harder than I thought! Hey Nathalie. I agree with MyCarVote... Leno's super busy with his new show etc etc. I'm not sure he ever intended to be fully active with these boards, but who knows maybe I'm wrong. I think his site is pretty sweet with lots of car enthusiast content.
