This type of drive has never been done as far as I can tell ever in North America in any British car, and may be one of the longest charity drives in North America!
This corresponds with one of the largest gathering of Triumph Cars in North America, the combined Triumphest / North American Triumph Challenge 2009.
This drive started 27 June in Holly Hill Florida outside of Daytona Beach, and is "A Brit, Driving a Triumph Stag, Across North America, for Charity!
That is over 14000 miles in 3 months covering 31 States and 6 provinces in USA and Canada, hosted by over 45 hosts and host clubs all to promote awareness for Post traumatic Stress Disorder and charitable contributions to charities. PTSD affects many more than military, in fact, more civilians, emergency workers and emergency responders are afflicted with PTSD than soldiers, and the effects are just as bad.
This would be a great car to add to someone's car collection!! HINT HINT!!
will SOMEBODY PLEASE tell Jay!!??!!
Learn about this epic historic drive. PTSD, and maybe even buy this fully concours restored Triumph Stag, proceeds going to charity!!!
